What you’ll get
White space is added to the digital version of the artwork to accommodate a matboard. The artwork will be square shaped.Â
My paintings are printed onto fancy gold fibre gloss (310gsm) paper. This paper makes the colours pop without the in-your-face type of reflective gloss.Â

Meet the Australian Magpie

Here we have the beloved Australian Magpie. Although technically, and please don’t hate me for this, they’re not actually magpies.
True magpies, like the Eurasian magpies, are corvids, so they’re more closely related to crows and ravens. But the Australian Magpies are more closely related to butcherbirds, which is probably why they have such beautiful similar sounding calls. *warbles*
Similar to masked lapwings, these guys do get pretty swoopy in springtime, and they can strike you if you get too close, which is why a lot of Australian cyclists adopt the Australian springtime uniform (a cycling helmet with zip ties attached).
It’s also every Australian’s dream to befriend a magpie because these guys can remember up to 100 faces. So if you treat them nice and you respect them, then maybe they’ll treat you nice and respect you back.
