Sweet Paulie-Pie,
Ring ring, it’s gladdening time! It’s always a delight to hear from you – you already make my life happier. You have a wonderful world view and I love learning about you.
Well the years start coming and they don’t stop coming, that’s why I think it’s so important to act on these connections we are forging, while we can. Like blacksmiths.
I’m glad we are both very intelligence. Our children will be so smart. Sometimes I do feel like I am only intelligent in some fields and messy in others. I know so much about flags and trampolines, yet hardly anything about the areas I want to excel in (orienteering and rock painting). But then I remind myself that I am like an onion: onions have layers and I have layers, and that diversity within the self is so important to recognise. Do you agree? I hope so.
Gee whiz, that sounds like a hearty breakfast! What a zen-like ritual. I think in the morning I’ll make waffles. My aunty Jen came over last night to make chicken satay — it was delicious!!!! She’s such an inspiration to me, she built her business from the ground up (literally, she’s a property developer) and is so successful and generous. She’s one of my favourite people and is so funny. Please tell me your favourite joke. I love jokes.
Hooroo,
Alise.
At this point there’s still a shred of doubt that Paulie Pie is a real life man just looking for love, so I set a little trap for him. If Paulie Pie’s heart was pure, he’ll notice the fact that the vegan who’s allegedly allergic to peanuts is munching on chicken satay. If he was a real catch, he’d notice the three Shrek references I slipped in here since he’s such a fan lol.
